I've uploaded the slides for my OSCON tutorial "How to Organize and Fund Free Culture Projects." Definitely, the hardest set of slides I've ever had to put together. It combines four months of searching, reading, researching, condensing, simplifying, and writing to get the slides done.
If you are registered for the conference, then I think you can just grab the "Financing Freedom" slides directly from my tutorial page. If you're not registered, I've also uploaded my tutorial slides to my SlideShare account.
The tricky part now is the timing. Do I have too many slides for a 3 hour class? Do I have enough. Will 144 slides be too many to get through, or will I have to put in some more rabbit holes. Now while I'm still offsite, I'll be writing up the script for my slides and begin practicing. I've put various bridges into my slides which should serve as natural places to check on my timing.
If you've already signed up form my tutorial, please try to download the slides. I'd really like to get more feedback before getting to Portland. I'm a big believer in getting the product into people's hands as quickly as possible. So, by all means, please download the slides and let me know what you think. Something not clear? Is there something that doesn't make sense? I'd love to know.
