Self check-out fu

Do you find yourself using those self check-out machines more these days? Do you find yourself struggling with already filled bags and no place to put more purchases? Here's a quick secret to better check-out: stack your stuff outside the bags.

The weighing sensors at the bottom of the machine don't care if you put things in bags or not. So go ahead and stuff your non-rectangular items into a bag or two but just pile up everything else right on the surface. You can place boxes, cans, and more right on top of each other and quickly work your way through your cart. So long as the sensors detect the product weight, they don't care what it looks like or how you've stacked them.

Stacking rather than bagging makes checking out a lot faster. And, you can bag those purchases as you take them off the device.

You can, usually, remove items after they have been weighed and the machine will simply assume you started a new bag/ran out of space.
