A little holiday blogging

Welcome everyone! Just so you can get to know me, below are some additional blog sites I run:

Each of the above URLs will pop on you, which means that they will open a pop-up window. So take the necessary steps to allow that if you're interested in getting to know me a bit more.

In addition to the above blogs (and this one), I've been working on revising the O'Reilly title LPI Linux in a Nutshell this holiday season. One of the things I've noticed lately is how well this book fits in with today's emphasis on cloud computing and all things Google.

In some ways, it's easy not to care about Linux as an operating system per se. After all, it's increasingly about Web browsers these days, at least from the end user's perspective. But because most blogging services, Google and other essential services run Linux, it's all about the cloud.

I've written an article about this on my other blog at CIWcommunity.org. Check it out:

Have a great holiday!
